I don't want to be a brick in a wall. All bricks look the same and they are cemented into place, kept in rigid order. And walls divide. And life is like banging your head...

Life is Strange

I am a teacher again.

Today's interview was strange. I returned to the school that inspired me to become a teacher. Some things, inevitably, had changed. But many things hadn't. I sat in the staff room and felt as if my last shift (September 1997) had just finished, and old colleagues would come in for an end of day chat and coffee.

It felt right though. I felt at home and although the kids were different kids, they felt familiar in their needs.
